What channel is LSU vs. Ole Miss on today? Time, TV schedule for 2021 Magnolia Bowl
The 2021 meeting between LSU and No. 12 Ole Miss will be a curious entry into their Magnolia Bowl rivalry.
The 12th-ranked Rebels are 5-1 and 2-1 in SEC play, jumping to their highest in-season ranking since 2016. The Tigers, meanwhile, are a team in transition. LSU on Sunday announced it was moving on from Ed Orgeron — just two years removed from the 2019 national championship season — but is keeping him on through the end of the 2021 campaign.

Saturday's meeting between the two teams could be the last time Orgeron coaches against Ole Miss, at least in the Magnolia Bowl. To date, he is 5-0 against the Rebels in this rivalry, and would likely like to keep his undefeated record intact. Conversely, Lane Kiffin — who once employed Orgeron at Tennessee and USC — will look to earn his first win in the series while keeping his team in the SEC West hunt with another marquee win.
The Rebels may be favored in Saturday's game, but they come across a Tigers team that scored an upset over No. 20 Florida in Tiger Stadium. No player was more important in the upset bid than Tigers running back Tyrion Davis-Price, who rushed 36 times for 287 yards and three scores against the Gators. He will be a handful for the Ole Miss defense to handle, which surrendered 42 and 51 points, respectively, to Alabama and Arkansas this season.
Matt Corral should have a good game for the Rebels, especially considering the number of injuries LSU faces on defense in defensive end Ali Gaye and cornerbacks Elias Ricks and Derek Stingley. To date, Corral has 1,728 passing yards and 14 touchdowns to one interception. He also has 450 yards and eight rushing touchdowns.
